Glasgo Memorial Veterinary Hospital established in loving memory:

Laurel Edgar Glasgo, DVM

Jennifer L Glasgo-Brown, DVM and Jessica L Glasgo-Jackson, DVM established this hospital in honor of their late father Laurel E. Glasgo, DVM.

He was born July 2, 1932 on a farm near Perrysville, OH. He graduated from Perrysville High School in 1950. He then joined the U.S. Air Force but was called away after his father’s death in 1953 to help with the family farm.

When his assistance was no longer required, he attended veterinary school at The Ohio State University and graduated in 1961. He practiced in Shelby, OH for 2 years before moving to Mooresville, IN. There he partnered with a classmate of his and joined Mooresville Veterinary Clinic. He practiced there until he passed away in April of 1989 at the age of 57.

Laurel had 3 sons: Dennis, Timothy, and Jacob and twin daughters: Jennifer and Jessica.

His hobbies included woodworking, crafting muzzleloaders, restoring and rebuilding motorcycles, cars and even an airplane that he flew. He played several musical instruments and taught his younger sister to dance the jitterbug. He was also known to play practical jokes on unsuspecting family and friends.

He was a wonderful father, son, brother, uncle, friend and veterinarian. He was loved by so many. Jennifer and Jessica honor his name with this memorial in hopes that his loving memory and caring for animals will live on.
